My building has permit parking and no driveway. Where does your truck go?

This is the first thing we sort out when you book. Our equipment runs off a truck-mounted unit, so the van has to sit within hose reach of your door. On the narrow blocks here that usually means a metered or permit space out front, or the nearest legal spot around the corner, and we run extended hose lines from there. If you're in a walk-up or a courtyard building where the run goes up interior stairs, tell us the floor and roughly how far your unit sits from the street entrance. We carry enough hose for most upper-floor units, and we'll bring stair and doorway protection so nothing gets scuffed on the way in. If your building has a loading zone, a rear alley, or a guest space a manager can release for an hour, that makes the job faster.

I'm moving out of a one-bedroom and the carpet is only in the bedroom. Will you do just that?

Yes. Most of our work in West Hollywood is single units rather than whole houses, and a lot of it is bedroom-only carpet in condos and dingbat-era buildings where the living areas are hard floor. Move-out and move-in cleans are routine for us here given how short tenancies tend to run. Let us know the deadline for your walkthrough, whether the unit will be empty, and if the landlord or management company wants any documentation of the cleaning. Empty rooms clean faster and dry faster, so scheduling after the movers leave is usually the better call.

My dog has no yard and the bedroom carpet smells. Can that be fixed?

Often yes, but it depends on how far down it went. In buildings with no outdoor space, urine tends to concentrate in the same few spots and soaks past the carpet face into the backing, the pad, and sometimes the subfloor. A surface clean will lift the color and take the edge off the smell, but if the pad is saturated the odor comes back as soon as the room warms up. We check the affected areas first and tell you what we're dealing with: whether a treatment that penetrates to the backing will handle it, or whether the pad in that section needs replacing to solve it. Dander and hair we address in the pre-vacuum stage, which matters more than people expect in pet-heavy units.

How long does carpet take to dry here, and is the interior bedroom a problem?

Air in this part of Los Angeles is dry, so carpet in a room with a window and some airflow usually dries within a few hours. The exception is what you're describing: interior rooms in the older walk-ups and courtyard buildings with no window and one door. Those hold moisture and can pick up a musty smell if you close them up afterward. For those rooms we control how much water goes in, extract harder on the final passes, and set air movers before we leave. Keep the door open, run the bathroom or hallway fan if there is one, and don't put furniture back on damp carpet.
